The Fotopro TR-01C Carbon Lamp Tripod combines a carbon-fibre tripod with lighting-stand connections, so it works across both camera and lighting setups. The 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch fittings are available in male and female versions, with a male 5/8-inch connection as well. That makes the TR-01C a distinctive option for photographers and small crews who need a lightweight stand with more than one role. Use it as a tripod by adding a ball head for landscape work, long exposures or steady video; its adjustable legs can also be set individually on uneven ground. For night and astro photography, a stable support gives your camera a firm base while you frame the sky. In lighting setups, the connection options accommodate accessories such as a Swivel, or a direct connection to an AD600 Pro. You can also mount a smartphone, microphone or LED light, making this a flexible piece of support gear rather than a stand with just one job.

• Individually adjustable legs: Set each leg to a different length to position the stand on uneven ground. One leg offers extra length adjustment for more flexibility in how you place it.
• Five leg sections: The multi-section design gives you several stages of extension when setting the stand’s height for a particular setup.

The TR-01C reaches a maximum height of 2100 mm and lowers to 510 mm. It folds down to 545 mm for carrying, and the stated maximum load is 2 kg. At 890 g, the stand itself is light to take along with other kit. Keep the combined weight of your mounted equipment within that 2 kg limit.
