Godox Mount Flash Projector AD fp 19 For AD300PROII/AD400PROII | Flash for events, portraits and sunny days

At an outdoor event, harsh sun can leave faces looking too contrasty; fill flash gives you a way to add light to the scene. The Godox Mount Flash Projector AD fp 19 is a speedlight flash for photographers working with the AD300PROII or AD400PROII. Its named fit makes it relevant if one of those Godox units is already part of your setup. It suits event coverage, indoor portraits and situations where you need fill light in strong sunlight. Those are distinct jobs, but they share a practical need: bringing flash into the picture when available light alone isn't giving you the result you want. If you're choosing gear for those kinds of shoots, this is a specialised option to consider alongside the two AD models named in its title. Its appeal is in that defined pairing and those everyday flash applications, rather than a promise of features or results that aren't established here.

Specialist Note

Choosing a flash for a specific setup can get confusing; this one is clearly named for the AD300PROII and AD400PROII. I’d keep that pairing front of mind: it makes sense for someone building an event or portrait kit around either of those units, rather than someone shopping for an unrelated flash. As a speedlight flash, it’s intended for flash work, so consider it when you need to add light indoors or bring fill into harsh sunshine. For a sunlit portrait, use it as fill; for an indoor portrait, use flash to supplement the room light. Its use is specialised around the named Godox models, which is helpful when that’s exactly your setup, but narrows who it suits.
