Godox Soft Gold & White Reflector Disc - 120x180cm
Godox Soft Gold & White Reflector Disc - 120x180cm | Shape portrait light
Brighten faces in hard sunlight or add a gentle lift to indoor portraits with the Godox Soft Gold & White Reflector Disc. Its 120x180cm size gives you a broad surface to work with, while the soft gold and white finishes let you choose between a warmer bounce and a more neutral one. It suits portrait photographers and event shooters who want to shape available light rather than rely on a flash for every adjustment. In harsh sun, use it to bring some light back into shadowed areas; indoors, it can help make a portrait feel less contrasty when there’s light to reflect. The result depends on where you position the disc and the light source, so a small adjustment in angle can make a noticeable difference. It’s a straightforward way to influence the look of a portrait without changing the scene.
Specialist Note
This Godox reflector can brighten a face in hard sun without moving the whole portrait into shade. At 120x180cm, it gives you a broad area to bounce light back onto a subject, which is handy when you’re working with more than one person at an event. I’d start with the white finish for a natural lift, then try the soft gold when you want a little warmth in an indoor portrait. It’s also useful for filling shadows in bright daylight. One thing to keep in mind: the disc redirects existing light; it doesn’t provide light by itself, so its position relative to the subject and light source matters.
