Godox TTL Hot Shoe Riser For IT20/IT22 For OM System / Panasonic | Give your flash a raised shoe position

When your flash setup calls for a higher mounting position, this Godox TTL hot shoe riser is the small accessory to consider. It’s made for use with Godox IT20 and IT22 units on OM System and Panasonic cameras, so it has a clearly defined place in a compatible setup. The riser’s job is to raise the hot-shoe position; the TTL designation identifies the type of connection it’s intended for. That makes it relevant when you’re putting together a compact flash arrangement and want to position the flash above the camera’s shoe. It’s listed as a tripod accessory, though its named purpose is hot-shoe positioning. If your kit uses the specified Godox flash and camera systems, this is a focused accessory rather than a general-purpose shoe adapter. Its appeal is simple: a more elevated mounting position for that particular combination.

Specialist Note

The frustration this removes is having your flash sit at the camera’s standard shoe position when your setup calls for it higher. I’d consider this riser specifically for an IT20 or IT22 paired with an OM System or Panasonic camera; those named pairings make it easy to see where it belongs in your kit. For a close portrait or a tabletop subject, fit it as the raised hot-shoe position in your flash setup, then arrange the camera and subject around that position. The TTL label is also a useful clue when choosing between accessories. Keep in mind it’s a specific riser for the stated combination, not a universal mounting part.
