H&Y K-Series Holder MKLLL + Drop-In Natural CPL (KH3+KNP)
H&Y K-Series Holder MKLLL + Drop-In Natural CPL (KH3+KNP) | Control reflections in your frame
Reduce distracting reflections on water or glass and bring a clearer view of the scene behind them. The H&Y K-Series Holder MKLLL + Drop-In Natural CPL (KH3+KNP) pairs a K-Series holder with a drop-in natural circular polarising filter. It’s for photographers who want to manage reflections and the appearance of the sky while composing landscapes, architecture or scenes around water. A CPL works by changing how polarised light reaches the camera, so its effect depends on the filter’s orientation and your angle to the light. Adjust it while looking through the viewfinder or at the screen, and watch the reflections change. That makes it easier to judge how much effect suits the picture, rather than simply aiming to remove every reflection. It’s a focused filter-and-holder combination for working with reflected light; the result you can get will vary with the scene and the light.
Specialist Note
The separate drop-in filter is a practical detail: the CPL is a distinct part of the setup, rather than a polariser built into a lens. The K-Series name identifies the holder it’s paired with, while “Natural CPL” tells you the filter type. For a window or a patch of water, compose first, then adjust the polariser while watching the reflected detail; stop when you’ve kept the look you want. It also lets you manage reflections in a landscape, where the change in the sky can matter as much as the foreground. I’d suggest it to someone who deliberately works with reflected light. One honest caveat: a polariser’s effect depends on your position relative to the light, so it can’t remove reflections equally from every angle.
