Hahnemühle DFA FineArt Baryta 325GSM 111.8cmx12m

Hahnemühle DFA FineArt Baryta 325GSM 111.8cmx12m | A wide roll for considered print work

Instead of building a print run around individual sheets, this Hahnemühle roll gives you a continuous length of FineArt Baryta paper to work with. It’s aimed at printmakers and photographers who need roll-format paper for larger or repeated prints, rather than someone looking for a small pack of sheets. The paper is 325 gsm, with a width of 111.8 cm and a length of 12 m. That makes the format the main point to consider: it suits jobs that need a broad printable surface or a longer supply from one roll. The name identifies it as FineArt Baryta; beyond that, the title doesn’t give enough detail to make claims about its surface or print appearance. If those qualities matter to your work, ask us before choosing. For planning print sizes and quantities, the stated roll dimensions give you a clear starting point.

Choosing a roll format

Roll paper can make sense when your work doesn’t fit neatly into standard sheet sizes, or when you want to plan several prints from a continuous length. Before buying, compare the intended print dimensions with the roll’s available width, then allow for the margins and trimming your process requires. The paper weight is another practical consideration: GSM means grams per square metre, a way to describe paper weight. It’s useful when comparing paper options, though weight alone doesn’t tell you how a paper feels or how a finished print will look.

Think through the job as well as the material. Are you making one large print, or several smaller ones? How much spare length will you need for setup and finishing? Those answers help you judge whether a roll is a sensible format for your workflow. This product’s name gives you the paper family, weight and roll dimensions; it doesn’t describe every aspect of handling or output. We’d rather be clear about that than promise a particular look without the information to support it.
