Hahnemühle DFA Rice Paper 100GSM 111.8cmx30m

Hahnemühle DFA Rice Paper 100GSM 111.8cmx30m | A wide roll for printed images

For a broad printed image that can be planned as one continuous piece, this is Hahnemühle DFA Rice Paper, supplied at 100 GSM in a 111.8 cm by 30 m format. It’s printer paper for projects where a wide sheet is useful: a large image, a sequence of prints, or artwork that needs room to breathe. The name identifies it as rice paper, but the details available here don’t describe its surface or appearance, so I wouldn’t choose it on the assumption that it has a particular texture or finish. Instead, start with the format and the image you want to make. The long length gives you material to plan several prints from the same roll, while the wide format leaves space for a larger composition. It’s a specific paper format, rather than a general description of how a finished print will look.

Before starting a longer print run, think through how your image will sit across the sheet. A wide composition may suit a panoramic photograph, an illustration, or artwork designed for a broad presentation; a smaller image can also be positioned with space around it. Those are project ideas, not claims about a particular finish or printer result. Make a test print if your workflow allows, and judge the result with the image you actually plan to print. For a set of related images, consider how you’ll divide the material and keep margins consistent from one print to the next. The practical appeal here is the combination of a named paper type and a clearly stated wide, long format. If those dimensions match your project, you can plan the layout around them without relying on vague claims about the paper’s look.
