Hama Power Cable Grounded Plug - 3-POLE Coupling 2.5m Black

Hama Power Cable Grounded Plug - 3-POLE Coupling 2.5m Black | A clear 2.5-metre link for mains power

Connect powered equipment to a grounded power source with the Hama Power Cable Grounded Plug - 3-POLE Coupling 2.5m Black. It has a grounded plug at one end, a 3-pole coupling at the other and a 2.5-metre length. That gives you a straightforward cable for setups where the equipment takes a matching three-pole connection and the power source is a little way off. The black finish keeps the cable visually unobtrusive among other leads. It’s a practical option for replacing a cable or arranging a powered setup with some room between the source and the equipment. The main thing to get right is the connection at the equipment end: the coupling needs to match its inlet. At 2.5 metres, there’s useful reach, but it still pays to plan the cable’s route before plugging in.

Choosing the right connection

Power cables are easy to overlook until the one you need doesn’t reach or the connector doesn’t fit. This Hama cable’s grounded plug and three-pole coupling describe the two ends to match against your power source and equipment. Check the inlet on the equipment and the outlet you intend to use; the product name gives you the connector arrangement to look for. The 2.5-metre length can help when the power source isn’t directly beside the equipment, while keeping the cable route in mind helps you decide whether that reach suits the space. It’s a simple part of a setup, but choosing by connector and length makes the job more certain.
