HOLLYLAND DB25 Male To DB9 Male Tally Cable

HOLLYLAND DB25 Male To DB9 Male Tally Cable | Connects DB25 and DB9 tally ports

It’s frustrating when a tally connection calls for two different connector sizes and the cable on hand doesn’t match. This HOLLYLAND cable is identified as a DB25 male to DB9 male tally cable, giving you those two connector types at its ends. It’s for a setup that specifically calls for this male-to-male DB25-to-DB9 tally connection; the name alone doesn’t identify particular equipment or a pinout, so the connection needs to match what your setup requires. The useful point is simple: you can look for the stated connector types and tally-cable purpose rather than guess from a cable’s appearance. If those are the ends your tally connection calls for, this is the cable to consider. It’s a specific connector match, not a general-purpose cable description.

Choosing the connection

For a cable like this, the connector names are the key detail to compare with the connection you need. DB25 male and DB9 male describe the two ends; “tally cable” describes the cable’s stated purpose. That gives you a clear starting point when looking at a tally setup with a DB25 connection at one end and a DB9 connection at the other. Make sure the required connection calls for these connector types and male ends. A matching connector shape is useful, but the product title by itself doesn’t tell you the equipment it works with or how the connection is wired. Keep the choice tied to the specific tally connection you need, rather than assuming every DB25-to-DB9 cable serves the same role. This is a focused cable for that stated connection.
