JJC Flash Bounce Nikon SB-600 - Normal Gold & Blue
JJC Flash Bounce Nikon SB-600 - Normal Gold & Blue | A warmer, less direct flash look
Direct flash can make an indoor portrait feel stark, with light that looks too concentrated on the subject. This JJC flash bounce diffuser is made for use with the Nikon SB-600, giving you a way to shape the flash’s look rather than relying on direct light alone. It’s suited to SB-600 users who want a simple accessory for portraits and other nearby subjects, especially in indoor settings where flash can otherwise feel intrusive. The product name includes “Normal Gold & Blue”; the supplier lists its colour as gold. That makes the colour detail worth keeping in mind when you want to preserve natural-looking tones. It’s a focused accessory for a specific flash, rather than a general lighting solution. If your aim is to change the feel of SB-600 flash light without changing your flash unit, this is the kind of small, purpose-led diffuser to consider.
Specialist Note
For a family portrait indoors, I’d use the gold version when I want the flash to feel a little warmer, rather than stark and cool. Its stated colour is gold, so bear that tint in mind if you’re trying to keep skin tones strictly neutral; that warmth is part of the look, not a correction for every scene. The other key detail is the Nikon SB-600 fit: this is a specific pairing, so it suits someone who already uses that flash and wants a bounce accessory for close portraits or a small tabletop subject. I’d keep it for those controlled, nearby situations, not expect it to solve every lighting problem.
