JJC GB-PRO1 Photography Belt & Harness System - carries up to eight lens pouches
Carrying several lenses in a shoulder bag can slow you down when you need to change focal lengths quickly. The JJC GB-PRO1 Photography Belt & Harness System carries up to eight lens pouches around your waist, with a vest-style harness to spread the load across your upper body. It’s made for photographers who work with multiple lenses close at hand, from event coverage to outdoor assignments where a bag is awkward to reach. The belt works with JJC DLP-series and Lowepro S&F-series lens pouches, so you can build your kit around compatible pouches from those ranges. Its mesh sections allow ventilation on warm days, while D-rings provide attachment points for small photography accessories. Rather than carrying the camera itself, the GB-PRO1 is a wearable support system for organising and carrying lens pouches and accessories. That distinction makes it especially relevant when quick access to a selection of lenses matters more than having everything packed away in one bag.
Highlights
- Vest-style harness: The ergonomic vest layout spreads the system’s weight across your body. That’s useful when you’re carrying several pouches for a longer stretch.
- Adjustable waist belt: The belt adjusts from 87 to 118 cm. This range gives you room to set the fit around your waist.
- Works with specific pouch ranges: It’s compatible with JJC DLP-series and Lowepro S&F-series lens pouches. Use pouches from these ranges to make use of the belt system.
- Ventilating mesh: Mesh in the harness and belt allows airflow. It’s a welcome detail when you’re working in warm conditions.
- D-rings for accessories: The harness has D-rings for attaching photography accessories. Keep small items attached to the system rather than loose in a pocket.
Good to know
The harness sides have reflective strips for added visibility in low light, a useful detail for outdoor work in the evening or at night. The chest strap also includes a whistle for outdoor use. These touches add visibility and an audible signal to a system whose main job is carrying lens pouches; they don’t replace suitable lighting or other outdoor safety equipment.
Specialist Note
“Can I carry a full set of lenses on the GB-PRO1?” Yes: the belt system accommodates up to eight lens pouches, provided they’re from the compatible JJC DLP or Lowepro S&F ranges. I’d point it towards event photographers and outdoor workers who regularly switch lenses and want those pouches at their waist instead of reaching into a bag. Set the belt within its 87–118 cm adjustment range, then use the compatible pouches for the lenses you need close by. One thing to keep in mind: this is a pouch-carrying harness, not a camera strap, so plan for the camera separately.
