JJC RI-S Raincover

JJC RI-S Raincover - fits lenses up to 28 cm long

Rain leaves a camera exposed unless you add a layer of protection. The JJC RI-S Raincover is a clear PE cover for DSLR and mirrorless cameras, sized for a lens up to 28 cm long and 17 cm in diameter. That generous lens allowance is useful when a longer prime lens is fitted, while the transparent cover keeps camera settings visible through the material. Take it along for a rainy outdoor walk, use it during a damp location shoot, or keep it on hand for a sudden shower while travelling with your camera. At 14 g, each cover adds very little weight to your kit. A drawcord around the lens opening holds the cover in place, and the pack contains two, so you have a second cover ready when needed. It’s a straightforward rain cover, with the lens dimensions the key detail to check against your setup.

Highlights

• Room for a long lens: The cover accommodates a lens up to 28 cm in length and 17 cm in diameter. Those measurements give you a clear size reference when comparing it with a fitted prime lens.
• For DSLR and mirrorless cameras: The RI-S is made for these two camera types. It covers the camera for use on rainy days, rather than serving as a general protective bag.
• Transparent construction: The cover is clear, so you can read the camera’s settings through it. That visibility is useful when rain protection is needed while you’re working with the camera.
• PE material: JJC uses sturdy PE plastic for the cover. The material keeps the cover light and transparent while providing the rain barrier described for the product.
• Drawcord at the lens opening: A cord around the lens opening lets you secure the cover at the lens. This helps keep the fabric of the cover in position around the front of the camera setup.
• Just 14 g per cover: Each raincover weighs 14 g, so carrying one adds little weight. The light construction is handy when you want rain protection available in your camera bag.
