K&F Concept ND8 Filter Nano X 3 Stops Gray Filter 67mm
K&F Concept ND8 Filter Nano X 3 Stops Gray Filter 67mm | Three-stop light reduction for longer exposures
Bright daylight can leave you with a shutter speed that's too fast for the motion you want to show. The K&F Concept ND8 is a gray neutral-density filter that reduces the light reaching your lens by three stops, giving you room to use a longer exposure or a wider aperture while keeping exposure under control. It suits photographers who want to soften moving water, show movement in clouds, or work with a wider aperture in bright conditions. The effect is a set reduction, not an adjustable range, so it’s especially straightforward when three stops is the amount you need. This filter is sized at 67mm; match that diameter to the filter thread on your lens. It’s a focused tool for deliberate exposure choices, rather than a general-purpose filter for changing colour or contrast.
Specialist Note
“Will this ND8 give me enough extra exposure time for moving water?” Yes, it cuts the light by three stops: a starting shutter speed of 1/125 sec becomes roughly 1/15 sec at the same exposure. That’s a useful place to start for softening the movement of a stream in daylight; use a tripod to keep the rocks and shoreline sharp. The 67mm size means it’s for a lens with a matching 67mm filter thread, so check the marking on the lens itself. It’s a fixed-strength filter, not a variable ND, so you’re choosing a specific three-stop reduction rather than turning a control to change it.
