Kodak Eastman Kodak TRI-X 320 TX 5x7 10SH

Kodak Eastman Kodak TRI-X 320 TX 5x7 10SH | A defined format for planned film work

Your next photographs start with a clearly identified film and format: Kodak Eastman Kodak TRI-X 320 TX in 5x7, with 10SH in the product name. It suits photographers planning a project around that specific designation, rather than choosing film by a broad description alone. The practical benefit is straightforward: the name gives you a stock, a size and a stated sheet quantity to work into your plans. That makes it easier to decide whether this is the film you intend to use for a particular body of work. I’d treat the format as the first point to match to your project, then make sure the film name is the one you meant to select. There’s no need to dress that up: this is a clearly identified option for work planned around 5x7.

For a considered film workflow, knowing exactly what you’re setting out to use matters before you begin. You can plan a project with a specific format in mind, keep your film choices consistent across the work, and make a clear note of the stock and size for later reference. The 10SH designation is also useful when you’re estimating how much film to allocate to a project; it gives you a quantity to factor into that plan. My honest advice is to decide on the format and film stock first, then choose based on those requirements. This product’s name is specific enough to make that decision easier, without asking you to infer a different size or film designation from a general product description. If those identifiers match the work you have planned, you’ll know what you’re selecting.
