Kodak USB2.0 K100 16GB

Kodak USB2.0 K100 16GB | Simple storage for everyday files

The defining choice with the Kodak K100 is a straightforward USB stick with 16GB of storage, named for its USB 2.0 connection. That keeps the idea simple: a single item for saving and carrying a planned set of files. It suits someone who wants a clearly sized storage option for documents, images or other everyday files, rather than an elaborate storage setup. The stick is black, a plain finish that won’t draw attention to itself among your other gear. The honest point to keep in mind is the capacity: 16GB is a set amount, so it’s better matched to a selection of files than to an archive that keeps growing. If you know roughly what you want to keep together, it’s easier to judge whether that amount fits your needs.

Choosing what to store

Think about the files you expect to save and how often you’ll add more. Documents generally take up less space than large media files, and file sizes can vary, so there’s no single count of photos or other items that applies to everyone. The K100 gives you one stated capacity to plan around. That makes it a sensible format for a specific collection you want to keep in one place, such as a set of work files or personal documents. It can also suit someone who prefers a separate stick for a particular task instead of mixing everything together. Keep your own file sizes in mind when deciding what belongs on it. The product name identifies it as USB 2.0; no transfer-speed claim is made here. For a simple storage purchase, that’s the useful distinction: know the capacity you’re buying, and choose it for the files you actually intend to keep.
