Kondor Blue KB-15SRCA-BK 15mm Single Rod Holder For Follow Focus Raven Black

Kondor Blue KB-15SRCA-BK 15mm Single Rod Holder For Follow Focus Raven Black | A single rod holder for follow focus setups

Kondor Blue KB-15SRCA-BK 15mm Single Rod Holder For Follow Focus Raven Black is a 15mm single rod holder intended for follow focus use. It’s built for camera operators and assistants assembling a rig around a follow focus. The purpose is specific: this is the holder to consider when your rig plan calls for a single rod holder in that role. The Raven Black name also helps distinguish this version when you’re sorting parts by product name or colour. When you’re reviewing a parts list, pay attention to the terms “single rod holder” and “follow focus”; they describe its role more clearly than the broad category of camera accessories. It’s a focused component, so it makes most sense when that’s the particular part your setup calls for.

A clearly defined role in your rig

With rig components, it helps to choose by the job a part is meant to do. This one is identified as a holder for a single rod, with follow focus use in mind. That gives you a useful starting point when you’re matching a product to a build: look for the same role in your rig plan, rather than assuming that any accessory will suit. The model code is included in the product name, which can also help when you’re keeping track of specific parts in a kit list or discussing a component with your crew. There’s no need to dress this item up as a general-purpose solution. Its value is in having a clearly named, specific place in a follow-focus build. If that’s the part you’re looking for, the product name tells you what role it serves.
