Kondor Blue KB-C400-THE Canon C400 Cage Upper HandleExtension Space Grey
Kondor Blue KB-C400-THE Canon C400 Cage Upper HandleExtension Space Grey | A dedicated extension for your C400 cage
Many tripod accessories support a setup in a general way; this one has a more specific job. The Kondor Blue KB-C400-THE is an upper-handle extension for a Canon C400 cage, so it suits operators building a cage-based rig around that camera and who want to extend its upper-handle arrangement. Its value is in being purpose-specific: you’re choosing an accessory for the C400 cage, rather than a general support component. That makes it most relevant when you already know an extended upper handle is part of the rig you want to build. The Space Grey finish keeps the accessory’s appearance understated within a camera setup. If you’re planning a C400 build and the upper handle is the part you need to extend, this is the focused option to consider. It’s a specialised piece of rigging, rather than a broad solution for other camera-support needs.
Specialist Note
A common mistake with cage accessories is buying something general-purpose when the rig needs one specific change. This part is made for the upper-handle setup on a Canon C400 cage, which makes it a sensible pick when that’s the point you’re trying to address. I’d consider it for a C400 rig where an extended upper handle is needed as part of the camera build; keep the choice focused on that role rather than expecting a general tripod support accessory. The Space Grey finish is a restrained visual choice if you prefer your setup to stay low-key. Its limitation is also clear: it’s a specialised extension, so it makes most sense when you’re building around the Canon C400 cage.
