Kondor Blue KB-CC70-CO Canon C70 Cage w/o Top Handle Space Grey

Kondor Blue KB-CC70-CO Canon C70 Cage w/o Top Handle Space Grey | A pared-back cage for C70 setups

The defining detail here is the configuration: this Kondor Blue cage is made for the Canon C70 and comes without a top handle. That makes it a considered option if you want a protective cage without choosing a handle as part of this setup. It suits C70 owners who prefer to keep the camera’s top free of a handle, or who want to make that decision separately. The cage’s role is straightforward: it provides a protective framework around the camera. There’s no need to read more into the name than that. Its Space Grey finish gives you a clear visual detail to consider alongside the shape of your own rig. I’d start with one practical question: do you want a top handle in this configuration? If not, this version keeps that choice simple.

A focused configuration

Choosing a cage is partly about the camera it’s intended for and partly about the arrangement you want to work with. This one is specifically named for the Canon C70, so the key decision is whether a C70 cage without a top handle matches your setup. If you’re looking for a version that comes with a top handle, this isn’t that configuration. If you’d rather keep the handle out of the purchase decision, the distinction is useful and easy to spot in the product name. The Space Grey finish is another straightforward point of choice; it’s a specific colour, rather than a claim about the cage’s material or performance. For a specialist shop, that’s the sensible way to assess it: start with the camera and handle configuration, then decide whether the finish suits your rig.
