Kondor Blue KB-SB-SRP Sony Burano Cage Lateral Rosette Plate Space Grey
Kondor Blue KB-SB-SRP Sony Burano Cage Lateral Rosette Plate Space Grey | A side rosette plate for Burano cage builds
What sets this plate apart is its specific purpose: it’s named for the Sony Burano Cage and a lateral rosette position, rather than being presented as a general tripod plate. It suits camera operators and crew putting together a rig around that cage who need this particular kind of side plate. The product is classed as a tripod accessory, so it’s also relevant when you’re organising the support parts of a camera setup. Its name gives you a helpful way to judge whether it belongs on your list: you’re looking for a lateral rosette plate for a Sony Burano cage, not simply any plate that can be attached to a rig. The Space Grey finish completes the product’s identification if you’re matching parts by name and appearance. For a build with a different layout or a different cage, this is a specialised part to consider only if its stated role matches what you need.
Specialist Note
A common first mistake with a cage build is choosing a plate by appearance and overlooking the connection type and position; this one is specifically identified as a lateral rosette plate for the Sony Burano Cage. That makes it relevant when your rig plan calls for a rosette connection at the side, rather than just another plate in the parts tray. I’d consider it for a Burano cage build where you’re arranging the side of the rig around that rosette position. The name is deliberately specific, which is useful when sourcing a replacement or planning a matching setup. It’s a focused component, though, not a general-purpose tripod plate; start with the cage and position you’re building around.
