Laowa Lenssupport For 15mm & 20mm Shift (Lao-20-Shift-LS3)
Laowa Lenssupport For 15mm & 20mm Shift | A support kit for two shift lenses
When a shift-lens setup needs a matching support, choosing the wrong part can leave you with something that doesn’t belong in the setup. The Laowa Lenssupport For 15mm & 20mm Shift is named for two specific focal lengths, making its purpose clear for owners of those lenses. It suits photographers who already work with Laowa shift lenses and want the corresponding support kit alongside them, rather than shoppers trying to choose a new lens or focal length. The 15mm and 20mm options cover different framing needs: from the same position, 15mm gives a wider view, while 20mm frames more tightly. That distinction matters in architectural and interior work, where moving back isn’t always possible. Treat this as a lens-specific part of your kit, and match it to the shift lens you’re using.
Specialist Note
Its scope is specific: this support is for the 15mm and 20mm Shift lenses, so it makes sense when one of those is already part of your kit. The focal lengths have distinct uses. In a confined interior, the 15mm gives you a wider view from the same position; for a façade, the 20mm frames more tightly when you want a less expansive composition. I’d choose the matching focal length for the space, then keep this support with that lens in your setup. It’s a considered purchase for owners of these particular shift lenses, not a general-purpose lens accessory.
