Libec A-20p
Libec A-20p | A UV filter for a focused, specific job
Without a UV filter, there’s no dedicated filter in the setup for ultraviolet light. The Libec A-20p is listed as a UV filter, so it suits photographers looking for that particular filter type rather than a general-purpose accessory. Its purpose is specific: it’s a choice to consider when UV filtration is what you need. It isn’t described here as a creative-effects filter, and I wouldn’t promise a particular change to colour, contrast or image sharpness. That keeps the buying decision simple: choose it for its UV-filter designation, not for an assumed effect or a feature that hasn’t been established. The product name identifies it as the A-20p from Libec. If you’re comparing filter options, start with the type of filtration your work calls for; this one is for shoppers who have settled on UV filtration.
Specialist Note
The limitation is clear: this is a UV filter, so it isn’t the one to choose when you want a different kind of filter effect. Its reason to be on your shortlist is just as clear: the A-20p is specifically identified as a Libec UV filter. I’d point you toward it if UV filtration is the job you have in mind, rather than suggesting it as a catch-all. The “A-20p” name gives you the exact model to discuss when selecting this item; the UV designation tells you its filter category. Keep the decision tied to that purpose, and don’t expect claims about other effects from the product name alone.
