Marumi Protect Filter Exus 67 mm
Marumi Protect Filter Exus 67 mm | A simple layer of protection for your lens
Without a protection filter, the lens’s front element is the surface most exposed to everyday contact. The Marumi Protect Filter Exus 67 mm adds a separate layer in front, so the filter—not the lens itself—is there to take the first contact from fingers or routine cleaning. It’s a straightforward option for photographers who want to keep a lens front protected during regular use, without changing how they handle the rest of their kit. The 67 mm size makes it relevant to lenses that take a 67 mm filter; match the filter size to the lens before choosing it. This is a protection filter, not a tool for changing colour or exposure, and it won’t make a lens immune to knocks. Its purpose is simple: give the front of a suitably sized lens an extra barrier during carrying and shooting.
Specialist Note
A filter won’t protect a lens from a hard fall, and you’ll still need to keep its surface clean; its value is in guarding against ordinary contact with the front element. I’d consider this Marumi for someone who wants that extra layer while carrying a lens in a camera bag or shooting in busy everyday settings. The 67 mm size gives you a clear match to look for on the lens, so you’re not guessing from its appearance. Its black colour keeps the filter visually understated on the front of your setup. Keep it fitted when you want protection during normal handling, and remove it when you don’t want an additional surface in front of the lens.
