Marumi Protect Filter Exus 77 mm

Marumi Protect Filter Exus 77 mm | A protective layer for your lens

The 77 mm size defines this version: it’s made to fit a lens with a matching 77 mm filter thread. The Marumi Protect Filter Exus is for photographers who want a protective filter in place while using their lens, rather than leaving the front element exposed to everyday dust and handling. Its purpose is straightforward: provide a layer in front of the lens that can take some of the routine contact that would otherwise reach the front element. That makes it a practical option for outdoor photography and regular day-to-day use. Choose it by the filter-thread size on your lens; the diameter needs to match. This is a protection filter, not a creative-effect filter, so its appeal is in keeping the setup simple and adding a little reassurance during ordinary use.

For everyday protection

A protection filter is most useful when a lens is being handled often or used in places where dust and fingerprints are part of the day. It gives you a surface in front of the lens to keep clean, rather than having to clean the lens itself as often. It’s still sensible to handle the filter carefully and use your usual lens-care routine; a filter is a protective layer, not a substitute for careful handling.
