Nedis CAT 8.1 Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 15.0m Round LSZH Grey Label

Nedis CAT 8.1 Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 15.0m Round LSZH Grey Label | A direct wired connection, with 15 metres of reach

A direct wired connection gives you a clear route between two points in your network setup. This Nedis CAT 8.1 cable has an RJ45 male connector at each end and measures 15 metres, so it suits a run where a shorter lead won't reach. Use it to link equipment with RJ45 network sockets, such as a router and another network device. The cable is round, grey and marked LSZH. Its length is the practical detail to plan around: measure the route the cable needs to follow, rather than just the straight-line gap between devices. If you’re setting up a wired connection across a room or along a longer route, that extra reach can make placement easier. It’s a straightforward cable for a fixed network setup, not an accessory that needs much explaining.

Planning the cable run

Before you connect everything, think about where the cable will go. A run around the edge of a room or behind furniture can follow a longer path than the distance between the two devices suggests. A little planning helps you choose a route that works for your space and keeps the cable from being stretched across a walkway. The round cable shape is useful to keep in mind when deciding how it will sit along that route. Once you’ve picked the path, the two matching connector types make the ends easy to identify. Keep the cable route accessible if you expect to move either piece of equipment later; that makes changes to your setup less of a chore.
