Nedis CAT6 Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 1.0m Round LSZH White Label

Nedis CAT6 Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 1.0m Round LSZH White Label | A short link with matching RJ45 ends

Without a cable cut to a nearby connection, you can end up with extra slack to manage or a lead that doesn’t reach. This Nedis CAT6 network cable is one metre long, with an RJ45 male connector at each end. It’s suited to a short connection where the equipment has matching RJ45 female sockets and a one-metre cable is enough. The cable is round and white, details that can help when you’re choosing how it will sit alongside other leads or in view. It’s also marked LSZH. The title identifies it as a CAT6 cable, but doesn’t give a speed figure, so I wouldn’t choose it on an assumed transfer rate. The practical point is simpler: match the connector type and length to the connection you have in mind.

Choosing the right length

At 1.0m, this cable makes most sense when the two connection points are close together. Measure the route the cable will actually take, rather than only the straight-line distance between the ports; a lead needs enough length to follow that route without being pulled tight. If the distance is greater than one metre, this won’t be the right length. If the cable will be visible, its white colour may suit the space; if it will run beside other cables, the round shape is worth noting when planning the route. The male RJ45 ends are the key fit detail: both connection points need to accept that connector. For a straightforward nearby network link, those are the details to check first.
