Nedis CAT7-CABLE PiMF RJ45 M RJ45 M 10.0m LSZH White Box

Nedis CAT7-CABLE PiMF RJ45 M RJ45 M 10.0m LSZH White Box | A 10-metre wired network link

For a wired network connection that needs to reach across a room or along a longer route, this cable gives you a direct link between two RJ45 sockets. The Nedis CAT7-CABLE PiMF RJ45 M RJ45 M is 10 metres long, with a male RJ45 connector at each end. Its CAT7 and PiMF designations describe the cable type and construction, while LSZH identifies its low-smoke, zero-halogen jacket. The cable is white, which can be handy when you want it to blend with a light wall or skirting board. It’s suited to a setup where a cable connection is needed and the devices are within reach of the cable’s length. The practical appeal is simple: you can route a single cable between the two connection points, rather than relying on a wireless link. Plan the route first, especially if it needs to go around furniture or along a wall.

Planning the cable route

A cable run is easiest to live with when its path is clear before you connect it. Think about where the two devices sit, and whether the cable can follow the edge of a room instead of crossing a walkway. Leave enough slack to reach each socket without pulling the cable taut; a neat route is more useful than a short, stretched one.

This is a straightforward option when the distance between your RJ45 connection points calls for a longer cable. The white finish may be less noticeable against pale surfaces, though it can show more clearly on a dark floor or wall. Keep the route accessible if you expect to move either device later. Nothing complicated here: the main decision is whether this length and connector type suit the path you have in mind.
