Nedis CAT7-CABLE S/FTP RJ45 Male RJ45 Male 0.50m Snagless Round LSZH Grey Label

Nedis CAT7-CABLE S/FTP RJ45 Male RJ45 Male 0.50m Snagless Round LSZH Grey Label | A short link between nearby RJ45 ports

When two network devices are close together, a long cable can leave an awkward loop of spare wire. This Nedis cable gives you a short connection between two RJ45 ports, with a male RJ45 plug at each end. It’s 0.50 m long, so it suits a compact desk, shelf or other setup where the devices are within easy reach of each other. The cable is described as CAT7 and S/FTP, and has a round, grey design, a snagless style and an LSZH label. That makes it a straightforward option when you need a short, defined run rather than extra length to coil away. One practical point: half a metre doesn’t leave much room for changing the layout later, so it’s best suited to ports that are already close together.

Where this cable makes sense

Use it when you want to link equipment with RJ45 ports without running a longer cable across a desk or shelf. The short length can help keep a close-together setup neater, and the snagless design is part of the cable’s stated construction. It’s a simple connection cable, rather than a way to bridge a large gap between devices. Before choosing it for a particular arrangement, consider where the ports sit and whether the cable can reach without being pulled tight. If they’re farther apart, this length may not suit the layout. For nearby ports, though, it keeps the connection direct and avoids having a lot of spare cable to manage.
