Nedis CAT7 Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 5.0m Snagless Round LSZH Grey Label

Nedis CAT7 Network Cable RJ45 M RJ45 M 5.0m Snagless Round LSZH Grey Label | A five-metre wired link with snagless RJ45 ends

What sets this Nedis cable apart is the combination of a five-metre length, snagless RJ45 connectors and a round LSZH cable. It’s for anyone who needs a wired network connection between equipment with RJ45 sockets and wants some reach between the two points. With a male RJ45 connector at each end, it can connect directly to those sockets; the cable is labelled CAT7 and is grey. The snagless design is a practical detail if the cable needs to be routed through a space where connector catches could be a nuisance. Its five metres give you room to place the connected equipment apart, rather than right beside each other. This is a straightforward cable for a defined wired connection, not a bundle of adapters or a wireless networking product.

The length is worth considering before you route it. Five metres can suit a run between nearby points with some slack, or a longer route around furniture; the path you choose will determine how much reach remains. As with any cable, avoid pulling it tight around corners. The round construction is part of this cable’s design, and its grey colour may be easier to distinguish from cables in other colours when you’re sorting a setup.

LSZH stands for low smoke, zero halogen. That designation, along with the CAT7 label, is part of the cable’s specification; it doesn’t tell you which route or placement will suit your room. The useful thing to check in your setup is simple: there needs to be an RJ45 socket at each end of the connection, and the cable route needs to fit within five metres. If those details line up, this Nedis cable gives you a direct wired link without adding connector types.
