Nedis D-Sub-Chassisdeel | D-SUB 9-PINS Female | Silver | Box

Nedis D-Sub Chassis Connector | A 9-pin female chassis connection

The useful distinction here is that this is a D-sub chassis connector, rather than a complete cable. It gives you a 9-pin female connection in a silver finish, for a setup that calls for that specific connector type. It’s suited to anyone replacing or adding a matching chassis connection; the important thing is getting the connector format, pin count and gender right for the connection you need. Those details are more helpful when identifying a part than a broad label like “computer connector”.

When you’re sorting out a D-sub connection, start with the number of pins and the shape of the mating connector. This Nedis part is identified as 9-pin female, so those are the details to compare with the connection you’re building or repairing. The word “chassis” identifies the part as a connector intended for a chassis connection, rather than a cable assembly. Its silver colour also makes it easier to distinguish visually from parts in other finishes. There’s no cable length or other cable detail to weigh up here: the product is the connector itself. A small component, certainly, but choosing the correct connector format is what matters most.
