Nedis HDMI-Repeater 25 m 8K@60Hz | Carry HDMI farther

Nedis HDMI-Repeater 25 m 8K@60Hz is made for a long HDMI run, with a stated length of 25 metres and support for 8K at 60Hz. It suits anyone planning a setup where the source and screen need to be placed well apart, such as a room where the cable has to follow a longer route. As a repeater, its purpose is to help carry the HDMI signal along that run. The main reason to consider this model is the combination of its length and its stated high-resolution, high-refresh mode. That gives you a specific starting point when planning a distant display connection. Before choosing a cable route, think about where the source and screen will sit and how the cable can reach between them. It’s a straightforward product description: a 25-metre HDMI repeater, rather than a short connection lead.

Planning the cable route

For a long connection, it pays to plan the route before setting up the equipment. Measure the path the cable will actually take, including the distance around furniture or along a wall; a straight-line measurement between devices may not account for those turns. Leave enough room to make the connections without pulling the cable tight, and keep the route clear of places where people could catch a foot on it. Also consider the source and display as a pair: the mode you want to use needs to suit both ends of your setup. Those simple checks can save time once everything is in place. The anthracite aluminium finish gives the product a defined look, though the practical decision here is whether its stated length and video mode fit your installation.
