Nedis High Speed HDMI-Cable w/ Ethernet

Nedis High Speed HDMI-Cable w/ Ethernet - 5 metres for 4K at 60 Hz

A television across the room from a streaming receiver or console calls for an HDMI lead with enough reach and support for a sharp picture. The Nedis High Speed HDMI-Cable w/ Ethernet is 5 metres long and supports resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz. It connects TVs and monitors to equipment such as PlayStation or Xbox consoles, projectors and streaming receivers, including Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV. The Ethernet feature is useful with devices that use networking over HDMI, while the cable also carries sound and video through its HDMI connectors. Its stated transfer rate reaches 18 Gbit/s, matching the bandwidth specified for its 4K format. For a setup that needs a longer run between screen and source, that combination of length, 4K support and Ethernet is the key detail.

Key Features

• High Speed transfer up to 18 Gbit/s: This is the cable’s stated maximum data rate. It supports the bandwidth needed for the listed 4K-at-60-Hz picture format.
• Ethernet feature: The cable is intended for connecting devices that use networking as well as carrying an HDMI signal. That’s relevant when the connected equipment uses the HDMI connection for network functions.
• ARC and HDCP support: Audio Return Channel (ARC) supports audio return over HDMI, while HDCP is also listed among the supported functions. These details matter when matching the cable to an AV setup that uses those features.
• Deep Color support: Deep Color is among the display technologies specified for this cable. It’s a useful compatibility detail for equipment using that colour feature.
• HDMI connectors: The cable uses HDMI plugs at its ends to connect compatible source and display equipment. This is the standard connection described for the TVs, monitors and other devices listed above.

Good to know

The cable is black and has a stated diameter of 5.5 mm, useful details when planning a route alongside other leads or through a gap. Support for 1080p is also specified alongside 4K. Full HD 3D content is listed as supported, so the cable’s stated formats cover both conventional Full HD viewing and 3D content on compatible equipment.
