Nedis Optical Audio Cable TosLink M-TosLink M 1.0m BK

Nedis Optical Audio Cable TosLink M-TosLink M 1.0m BK | A direct optical audio connection

Your audio components can be linked with a short optical connection, without adding a long cable run to the setup. This Nedis optical audio cable has a TosLink male connector at each end, for connecting equipment with matching TosLink sockets. At 1.0m, it suits a nearby source and receiver; it’s worth measuring the route between them so the cable can reach without being stretched. The cable is black, a low-key colour for a run alongside other dark equipment. Its job is straightforward: carry an optical audio connection between two compatible sockets. There’s no need to choose among extra lengths or connector types here. If your setup calls for TosLink at both ends and the components are close together, this is the simple one-metre option.

Planning the connection

Before arranging the cable, identify the optical audio connection on each piece of equipment and plan a route that leaves enough reach between them. The matching male ends are intended to plug into TosLink sockets; the cable doesn’t convert one connection type into another. That makes it a focused option for a setup already built around TosLink. A short run can keep excess cable out of the way, but the actual route matters: allow for the distance between the sockets, including any detour around nearby equipment. Keep that practical measurement in mind when deciding if 1.0m suits your arrangement.
