Nedis Speaker-Cable | 2X 2.50 mm² | CCA | 25.0m | Round | PVC

Nedis Speaker-Cable | 2X 2.50 mm² | CCA | 25.0m | Round | PVC | A practical length for speaker runs

The defining choice is CCA conductor material: this is a straightforward speaker cable for a run where the cable itself needs to cover the distance between components. With two 2.50 mm² conductors and a 25.0m length, it suits listeners planning a longer route through a room or along its edges, rather than a short link between nearby pieces of equipment. The round shape and PVC jacket give the cable a conventional format for routing as part of a home audio setup. It’s a practical option when you already know the route calls for this length and want speaker cable sold by the metre as a complete run. The honest point: a long cable can be harder to route neatly than a short one, so it pays to plan its path before setting up.

Planning the run

Start by deciding where the speakers and the connected equipment will sit, then trace the route the cable will take between them. Follow the path you’ll actually use, including turns around furniture or along room edges, rather than measuring only the straight-line distance. That gives you a more realistic idea of the cable needed and helps avoid an untidy route across a walkway. Think, too, about how the cable will be kept out of the way once everything is in position. A little planning makes the setup easier to live with and helps you judge whether this cable’s length suits your room. Keep the route simple where possible, and make sure the cable can reach without being stretched tight.
