Nedis Stereo Audio Cable 3.5mm M-2X RCA M 1.5m Grey

Nedis Stereo Audio Cable 3.5mm M-2X RCA M 1.5m Grey | Connect stereo audio gear

Without a lead that has both connector types, linking a 3.5 mm audio connection to two RCA connections means finding an adapter or another cable. This Nedis stereo audio cable brings those ends together in one 1.5-metre lead: a 3.5 mm male connector at one end and two RCA male connectors at the other. It’s for a simple wired audio connection between equipment with matching sockets, rather than a cable for a camera or a charging lead. The two RCA plugs are the stereo pair, while the 3.5 mm plug gives you the other end of the link. Its grey colour is easy to distinguish from darker leads in a bundle. One practical point: 1.5 metres gives you a set distance to work with, so it’s worth considering where the connected equipment will sit before routing the cable.

Making the connection

Use the 3.5 mm male end at equipment with a matching 3.5 mm socket, then connect the pair of RCA male plugs to equipment with matching RCA sockets. That describes the connector arrangement, not a particular device combination: the cable doesn’t identify which products you’re connecting, so match the plugs to the sockets on your own equipment. If you’re replacing an existing lead, compare its connector ends with this layout first. It’s a straightforward format, but the two RCA plugs are easy to overlook if you’re expecting a single connector at that end.

The 1.5-metre length can also help you judge where to place the cable in a setup. Lay out the route between the connected equipment and allow for the cable to reach without pulling on either plug. Grey gives the lead a visible finish rather than blending into a black cable bundle. That’s the practical extent of what this cable offers: a defined connector arrangement and length for a stereo audio connection.
