Nielsen Photo Frame 8988052 Apollon White 20x20 / 14x14cm

Nielsen Photo Frame 8988052 Apollon White 20x20 / 14x14cm | A square frame for a favourite photo

A square photo frame gives a favourite image a neat, balanced presentation, especially when the photograph already has a square crop. The Nielsen Photo Frame 8988052 Apollon White is identified with two measurements: 20 x 20 cm and 14 x 14 cm. Its white finish keeps the look simple, so the photo can take the attention rather than a strong frame colour. It suits anyone choosing a frame around a particular picture size or putting together a small display of square images. One practical point: the title gives both measurements, but doesn’t label what each one refers to. If you’re matching it to a print, compare the dimensions you need with the measurements shown here before deciding. That’s a more reliable way to choose than judging the frame from a product name alone.

Choosing an image

Square framing changes how a photograph reads: the crop gives equal space across and down, rather than the wider shape common in many pictures. Portraits, close details and carefully composed scenes can all work well in a square format, provided the crop suits the subject. If you’re selecting a photo specifically for this frame, look at the edges of the image as well as its centre. A face or important detail close to an edge can feel cramped after cropping, while a little breathing room can make the composition feel more settled.

The Apollon’s white colour is a restrained option when you want the photo itself to set the mood. It can also help keep a group of differently coloured images feeling visually consistent, though the pictures will still determine the overall effect. The frame’s stated measurements are square, so it’s a straightforward style to consider for a single image or a collection built around square prints. Keep the exact sizing in mind when you’re planning the display; the title presents 20 x 20 cm and 14 x 14 cm together, and those are the measurements to work from.
