OM SYSTEM LC-77C Lens Cap For ET-M3040PRO / EZ-M5020PRO
OM SYSTEM LC-77C Lens Cap For ET-M3040PRO / EZ-M5020PRO | Keep your lens covered between shoots
The LC-77C is a lens cap specified for two OM SYSTEM lenses: the ET-M3040PRO and the EZ-M5020PRO. That model-specific purpose is the key design decision: it gives owners of either lens a cover intended for that equipment, for times when the lens isn’t being used. It’s best suited to photographers who want to keep the lens covered during storage, transport or a pause in a session, then remove the cap when they’re ready to shoot. The job is straightforward, and that’s the appeal here: this is a dedicated accessory, rather than a general piece of kit with extra functions. If you use one of the named lenses, the LC-77C is the relevant cap to consider. Keep it with the lens, fit it when you put the lens away, and take it off again before making pictures.
Specialist Note
Photographers using the ET-M3040PRO or EZ-M5020PRO for planned work will appreciate having the matching LC-77C close by. As a lens cap, its role is to cover the lens when you’re between shots or packing up; remove it before you start shooting, then put it back on when the lens goes into storage. That simple routine helps keep the lens covered when it isn’t in use. I’d keep this cap with the lens it’s intended for, especially if you move equipment between sessions. One honest point: it won’t change your pictures while you’re shooting. Its value is in looking after the named lens when the camera is put away.
