PGYTECH Shoulder Strap Quick Release Clamp & Plate | Make strap removal quicker

When you need to take a shoulder strap off between carrying and working, a quick-release connection can save you fiddling with the setup. The PGYTECH Shoulder Strap Quick Release Clamp & Plate is an accessory for that job: its name identifies a clamp and a plate, arranged as a quick-release connection for a camera strap. It suits photographers who want the option to detach their strap rather than leave it attached all the time. That can be handy when you’re changing how you carry your camera, or when a strap gets in the way of the way you want to handle your gear. The useful point here is the combination of a clamp and a plate with a quick-release function, rather than a strap itself. It’s a focused accessory, so its appeal is straightforward: make the strap connection easier to release when you need to.

Specialist Note

This set earns its place when you want to remove a shoulder strap quickly, without making strap removal a whole separate task. I like that the product name is specific: it’s a clamp and a plate, two named parts working as a quick-release accessory for a camera strap. In everyday use, that makes sense for someone who alternates between carrying a camera on a strap and working without one; use the quick-release connection when you make that change. It’s also worth keeping expectations practical: this is the connection accessory, not a shoulder strap. If you’re choosing it, think of it as a way to make that strap setup easier to release.
