Radius 7cm Sanken CS-M1 Nimbus Windshield (19/22) Black Fur
Radius 7cm Sanken CS-M1 Nimbus Windshield (19/22) Black Fur | Helps reduce wind noise around your mic
The black fur covering sets this Nimbus windshield apart from a bare microphone: it’s made to help tame wind noise around the Sanken CS-M1. It suits people recording voice outdoors or in breezy locations, where air hitting a microphone can distract from speech. Use it for an interview, a short film dialogue take or location narration when you want the recorded voice to remain easier to hear. The product name gives two useful size references: a 7 cm designation and a 19/22 marking. Those details make it more specific than a generic furry cover, so you can match the named option to your setup. It’s a focused accessory rather than a cure for every noisy recording environment; placement and the strength of the wind still matter. If you work with a Sanken CS-M1 and need a fur-covered windshield, this is the model to consider.
Specialist Note
The Radius 7cm Sanken CS-M1 Nimbus Windshield is best at helping control wind noise on a CS-M1 microphone. I’d consider it for outdoor interviews or location dialogue: fit the windshield for the recording, then position the mic close enough to the speaker that their voice stays prominent. The black fur is the practical detail here, giving wind a covering to pass through before it reaches the microphone. The 7 cm designation identifies this particular size, while the 19/22 marking gives you a specific sizing reference when selecting the version for your setup. It’s aimed at the named Sanken mic, so I wouldn’t treat it as a universal cover.
