Revar Cine 138mm Close-Up 4-DIOPTER Set + 4x5.65 Double Tray Kit | Cinematic close-up control

Bring a subject into close detail for a cinematic insert or tabletop shot with the Revar Cine 138mm Close-Up 4-DIOPTER Set + 4x5.65 Double Tray Kit. It pairs a 4-diopter close-up set with a 4x5.65 double-tray kit, for filmmakers building close-focus shots into a cinema setup. The close-up strength is the key here: it lets you work with subjects nearer than your ordinary focusing range, making small details fill more of the frame. That’s useful for product details, objects handled in a scene, or a deliberate close view of a face. The 4x5.65 format and double-tray designation make the kit relevant to crews planning around that filter-and-tray format. It’s a specialist tool for shots that call for a closer perspective, rather than a general-purpose filter effect.

Specialist Note

The 4x5.65 double-tray arrangement is a practical detail to plan your setup around: it gives this close-up kit a defined place in a rig built for that format. The 4-diopter strength is what changes the shot; use it when your subject needs to sit closer than your normal focus range allows. For a tabletop insert, bring the camera in on the detail, fit the close-up set and refocus for the tighter view. It also suits close facial details in a scripted scene. The 138mm designation gives you another size reference when planning the setup. One honest point: 4 diopters is a committed close-up effect, so plan for near subjects rather than everyday wide views.
