Revar Cine Replacement Unmounted 138mm Circular Polarizer
Revar Cine Replacement Unmounted 138mm Circular Polarizer | Manage reflections in 138mm setups
Cut reflected glare from glass or water and bring more visible detail into a scene with a polarizing filter. The Revar Cine Replacement Unmounted 138mm Circular Polarizer is a circular polarizer in 138mm unmounted form, intended as a replacement component. It suits image-makers whose workflow already uses unmounted filters of this size, especially when reflections are distracting from a subject. A polarizer can also deepen the appearance of a blue sky, depending on the light and the filter’s orientation; the effect won’t be even across every wide view. This is a focused tool for managing reflections and sky rendering, not a general fix for a flat-looking image. If you need a replacement polarizer in this size and format, this product gives you those specific details without adding a mounted assembly.
Specialist Note
Reflections can hide the detail you want to keep, particularly on glass or water. I’d adjust the polarizer’s orientation while watching the image, then stop when the glare is reduced without losing the look of the scene. The 138mm size makes this relevant to a setup built around that filter size, rather than a universal spare. Its unmounted form is the key practical point: it suits someone replacing an unmounted filter or already set up to mount one, not someone expecting a complete mounted filter. It can also help deepen a blue sky when the light angle allows, though the result varies across a wide view.
