Rycote Overcovers Adv Fur Discs Only Grey (Bag Of 100)
Rycote Overcovers Adv Fur Discs Only Grey (Bag Of 100) | Fur discs for microphone recording
Wind noise can distract from spoken words, especially when recording in open air. Rycote Overcovers Adv Fur Discs are furry microphone accessories for situations where a microphone needs a covering to help manage that problem. They suit sound recordists and video makers working with dialogue, interviews or other speech recordings who want a supply of these discs ready for use. The disc format makes them a specific accessory rather than a general-purpose microphone cover, so they’re best considered for microphones the Overcovers are intended to fit. Keep the bag with your audio kit and you can draw on the supply as needed across recording sessions. This product is the discs only: it isn’t a microphone or a complete recording setup. If you’re choosing them for a particular microphone, make sure the Overcovers format is the one you need.
Specialist Note
“Are these the grey furry discs, and do you get a full bag?” Yes: this is the fur-disc version, supplied in a bag of 100. That quantity is handy for a busy dialogue kit or a production team that wants a reserve of matching covers rather than just one or two. For outdoor interviews or spoken-word video, keep the discs with the microphones they’re intended for and use them when air movement is a concern. The grey finish gives you a consistent look across the set. One point to keep in mind: the title specifies discs only, so don’t count on this bag as a complete microphone wind-protection setup.
