Samyang Lens Cap For AF 24mm f/2.8 Sony FE | Cover the lens when stored

A lens without its cap leaves the front exposed when it’s off the camera or tucked away between uses. This Samyang lens cap is made for the Samyang AF 24mm f/2.8 Sony FE lens, giving you a cover for that specific lens when you’re packing it or putting it away. It suits owners of that lens who want a replacement cap or a spare to keep with their camera bag. The name matters here: the 24mm f/2.8 identifies the lens this cap is intended for, so it’s not a general accessory for every lens in your kit. Use it when the lens is stored, or when you’ve taken it off the camera and want to cover its front. It’s a simple accessory, with a clear job: keeping the named lens covered when it isn’t in use.

Specialist Note

The honest limitation is that this is a cap for one named lens, rather than a general-purpose cover for a mixed kit. That specificity is also why it makes sense if you own the Samyang AF 24mm f/2.8 Sony FE: the 24mm and f/2.8 identify the lens it’s intended for, so you can keep its cap matched to that lens. I’d use it when putting the lens away in a bag, and whenever I remove the lens from the camera for storage. It’s a small, straightforward accessory, not something that changes how the lens takes pictures; its value is having the right cover for that particular lens.
