Samyang Tiny Bag
Samyang Tiny Bag | A protective layer inside your larger bag
Loose gear in a larger camera bag can rub against other items or take bumps as the bag moves. The Samyang Tiny Bag is a protective pouch designed to sit around gear inside that larger bag. It suits photographers who want to protect an item while carrying it alongside the rest of their kit. Its job is focused: help guard against scratches and bumps during packed transport, rather than serve as the main bag for carrying everything. That makes it a practical option for everyday packing, especially when several items share space. Place the gear you want to protect in the pouch before packing it away, and you have an extra layer between it and the contents around it. If you already carry a larger bag, the Tiny Bag offers a straightforward way to protect gear inside it without changing how you pack.
Specialist Note
The Tiny Bag isn’t a replacement for your larger camera bag; its value is as a protective pouch inside one. I’d use it for an item that would otherwise sit loose among the contents, so there’s a layer between the gear and nearby things that could cause scratches. It also makes sense for ordinary journeys where a packed bag may get bumped: this pouch is intended to help protect gear from those knocks. Put the item you want to protect in the Tiny Bag first, then pack it in your larger bag. I’d recommend it when you need that extra inner protection, not a separate carry solution.
