Silicon Power CFexpress 2.0 Type B Card Createpro CR20B Pro 800GB

Silicon Power CFexpress 2.0 Type B Card Createpro CR20B Pro 800GB | Room for more files between offloads

Its defining detail is the 800GB capacity: this Silicon Power CFexpress 2.0 Type B card is aimed at photographers and filmmakers who want to keep more files on one card before transferring them elsewhere. If you tend to shoot long sessions or prefer fewer interruptions to manage storage, that extra room is the main reason to consider it. The name also identifies the Createpro CR20B Pro range and the Type B format, so you can assess those details against the card slot your equipment uses. I’d focus on capacity first here; the product information gives us no basis for claims about transfer speed or recording performance. That makes this a straightforward option to weigh by the amount of storage you want, rather than by promises about how fast it will work.

Choosing the capacity

Capacity can make a practical difference when you’re deciding how often to move files off a card. With 800GB available as the stated capacity, this card gives you a substantial amount of space to work with. The number of images or minutes of video that represents will vary with file size and recording settings, so there’s no single figure that applies to every shoot.

For a busy day, it’s worth thinking about your own routine: do you prefer to carry one higher-capacity card, or split files across several cards? This model is clearly identified as CFexpress 2.0 Type B, which gives you the format name to compare with your equipment’s requirements. If Type B and the 800GB capacity suit your setup and working habits, those are the clearest reasons to put it on your shortlist.
