SmallHD Dual Gold-Mount Plus Battery Bracket 14V/26V
SmallHD Dual Gold-Mount Plus Battery Bracket 14V/26V | Gold-Mount power for field monitors
When a field monitor is part of a battery-powered rig, the power bracket is one of those choices that affects how you plan the whole setup. This SmallHD bracket is made for a dual Gold-Mount arrangement and is identified for 14V/26V power. That makes it relevant to crews choosing between those voltage levels for a monitor setup, whether they’re preparing a mobile video rig or organising a monitor station on set. The key point is that this is a dedicated battery bracket, not a monitor or a battery: its role is to provide the Gold-Mount part of the power arrangement. If your rig already uses Gold-Mount batteries, the name gives you a clear starting point for assessing whether it belongs in your setup. It’s a specialist accessory, so the value is in matching the bracket to the power plan you’re building.
Specialist Note
The two Gold-Mount positions give this bracket a clear job in a monitor rig: it’s for a setup planned around a dual battery mount, rather than a general-purpose plate. I’d think about the voltage level first. The 14V/26V designation makes it relevant when you’re choosing between those power options for a field monitor setup, so plan around the voltage your rig calls for instead of treating the numbers as interchangeable. It suits video crews putting together a dedicated monitor power arrangement, whether that’s for work on location or a fixed set position. One honest point: it’s a focused piece of kit, so it makes most sense when Gold-Mount power is already part of your plan.
