Specialist Note
Once the bracket is aligned, the lens barrel has support while the zoom and focus rings remain free to turn. I’d recommend the 2727 for a 15 mm LWS video rig with a lens between 73 and 108 mm in diameter: use the thumb screw to bring the support up to the barrel, then adjust your focus or zoom without the bracket getting in the way. That makes it particularly useful for operating a zoom during a take, or for repeated manual focus changes. The 30.5 mm height range gives you room to match the support to the lens position. Just bear in mind that it’s a rod-mounted accessory, not a standalone lens support.
