SmallRig 6240 Hot Shoe Cover For Fujifilm Cameras (Ebony)
SmallRig 6240 Hot Shoe Cover For Fujifilm Cameras (Ebony) | Keep the hot shoe covered
Without a cover, the camera’s hot shoe is left open whenever you remove a shoe-mounted accessory. The SmallRig 6240 is a simple cover for Fujifilm cameras, giving you a direct way to cover the fitting between setups. It suits photographers who take an accessory off after use, or who want the shoe covered while the camera is stored or carried. There’s no extra control or shooting function to learn; its job is to sit over the hot shoe until you need the fitting again. For people who switch between a bare camera and a setup with an accessory, it gives the unused shoe a clear, simple resting state. The Ebony colour is a restrained visual detail. Choose this cover for straightforward day-to-day use, rather than as an accessory that changes how the camera works.
Specialist Note
The limit is that this only covers the hot shoe; it doesn’t add a shooting function. I still think the SmallRig 6240 makes sense if you want the shoe on your Fujifilm camera covered whenever you’re not using an accessory there. I’d put it on after removing an accessory, then take it off when you need the shoe again. That simple routine is where a hot shoe cover earns its place. The Ebony colour gives you a defined look to choose, rather than an unspecified finish. It suits Fujifilm owners who prefer to keep the camera’s shoe covered between setups, and who want a small accessory with one clear job.
