SmallRig 6305 Chest Mount For DJI Osmo Action 6 / Nano

SmallRig 6305 Chest Mount For DJI Osmo Action 6 / Nano | Keep your hands free while filming

The chest-mount format is the defining choice here: it places the camera at your torso, so you can film without holding it. SmallRig makes this mount for the DJI Osmo Action 6 and Nano, giving owners of those cameras a way to record from a chest-level viewpoint. It suits activities where keeping both hands available matters, and it’s best for footage that benefits from seeing the scene from your own position rather than from a camera held out in front of you. That point of view can make the recording feel close to the action, though the result depends on how you move and what you’re doing. The name tells us what kind of accessory this is, but not how it adjusts or attaches, so I wouldn’t assume particular fitting details. If you want a chest-mounted setup for one of the two named DJI cameras, this is the specific SmallRig model to consider.

Why choose a chest-mounted view?

A camera at chest level records from a different height and angle than footage made while holding it. That can suit activities where your hands are occupied, or when you want the camera to follow your forward-facing movement. It’s a focused accessory rather than a general-purpose support: the appeal is the chest-level perspective. SmallRig’s 6305 is named for the DJI Osmo Action 6 and Nano, so its intended camera pairing is clear. There’s no need to treat it as a universal mount; the useful question is whether a chest-level viewpoint fits the way you want to film. For that use, the product name gives a straightforward answer about its purpose and compatible camera systems.
