SmallRig SR5143 RC 100B COB LED Video Light Pro Version / UK Standard 5143

SmallRig SR5143 RC 100B COB LED Video Light Pro Version / UK Standard 5143 | Continuous light for video work

A COB LED design gives the SmallRig SR5143 RC 100B Pro its clear role: it’s a continuous light for video, rather than a flash that fires only when you take a still photo. That makes it relevant to people who want a light source for recording, from solo creators putting together a simple video setup to small production teams adding a dedicated light. The title identifies this as the Pro Version and the UK Standard variant; beyond that, the product name alone doesn’t tell the whole story of how it will fit a particular shoot. Its strongest match is straightforward video lighting, where a continuous source is the kind of tool you’re looking for. If your work is mainly still photography, consider first whether a video light suits the way you prefer to light a scene. It’s a focused product, not a promise of a complete lighting setup.

Where a continuous video light fits

With continuous lighting, the light is on while you work, so it belongs in a video-making setup. That basic distinction helps when you’re choosing between equipment intended for recording and equipment intended to provide a brief burst for a still image. The RC 100B’s product name also identifies its COB LED light source, giving you a specific description to use when comparing it with other lights. It’s sensible to think about the kind of scene you plan to record and how a light will fit into that workflow. The title doesn’t provide a brightness figure or other performance measurements, so this description keeps to what the product is identified as: a SmallRig COB LED video light in the Pro Version.

Choosing the right version

The UK Standard wording is part of this product’s variant name, so it’s worth keeping the full title in mind when selecting it. The model references are SR5143 and 5143, while RC 100B identifies the light in the product name. Those details can help distinguish this listing when you’re comparing product pages or searching for the same model. For a practical decision, start with the central question: are you looking for a continuous LED light for video? If so, this listing describes that kind of product. The title doesn’t establish a particular output, colour range, control method or included accessory, so none of those details are assumed here.
