Telesin 1/4 Black Mist Filter For DJI Osmo Nano
Telesin 1/4 Black Mist Filter For DJI Osmo Nano | Softer-looking highlights
Its 1/4 Black Mist grade gives DJI Osmo Nano users a way to shape the look of bright highlights, rather than simply recording a scene as it appears. This filter suits people who want a softer, less clinical feel in their footage or stills, especially when bright lights are part of the picture. Black Mist filters are used to soften highlight rendering and ease the crispness of contrast; the 1/4 designation points to a restrained effect rather than a heavy, hazy look. That makes it a considered option for portraits, evening street scenes and interiors with visible lamps or window light. The appeal is creative, not corrective: it won’t fix exposure or focus, and the softened look may not suit scenes where you want every edge to feel sharply defined. If you’d like a gentler visual character from your Osmo Nano, this filter gives you a direct way to explore it.
Specialist Note
The Telesin 1/4 Black Mist Filter is best at giving bright highlights a gentler presence in your Osmo Nano images. The 1/4 grade is a good place to start if you want the effect to stay measured; try a portrait with a bright window behind the subject, or include shop lights in an evening scene and judge how soft you want the glow to feel. It’s made for the DJI Osmo Nano, so this is a focused add-on for that camera rather than a general filter recommendation. One point to keep in mind: Black Mist treatment also takes some bite out of fine detail, so I’d leave it off when crisp edges matter more than atmosphere.
